Is this the worst government in history? We need change!

Poll

Is this government 2010- present the worst in history?

This current Government 2010- present is the worst in British history. Britain has gone downhill rapidly. We are a global laughing stock ruled by big business and greed. The NHS is in tatters, massive cuts to welfare, austerity, high tuition fees and ridiculously expensive train fares.

There needs to be strikes and a vote of no confidence against May and this Tory government.

We want change once this government is gone:

Renationalise the railways
Abolish tuition fees
End austerity
Rebuild the NHS and welfare system.
Affordable rents

Paid for by:
Getting rid of the fat cats
Mansion tax
Millionaires tax
A maximum salary

Make 2017 a year of change

One day you'll enter the real world. One day... :moon:
That's a nice big pile of platitudes right there. Rather than silly lists, why not explain why they need to happen, and how the changes would be implemented?

It's a little bit extreme but this government has been completely disgraceful. Even Blair and Brown did a better job, Conservatives have got nothing done so far.

Kick Jeremy Corbyn out, put chuka umunna in and let's fix this mess that the right wingers have imposed on us.
One day, Ambitious1999, you will learn that life is just a little bit ****.
There are more people in work than ever before, so clearly it is not just the rich who have benefited.
Im just here to agree that train fares are literally extortionate. Had the good fortune to be invited to the house of lords (no im not part of the "posho" crowd lol) and a return is £210!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We have not appeased Hitler as Chamberlain did. Not introduced the workhouse as in the 1830s. Not sent troops to war without adequate equipment as happened in 1914 and under Blair.

So not the worst ever in my opinion.
I'd say it's a pretty good government
-Lower taxes
-7-day NHS
-More people in work than ever before.
-Fastest growing economy in developed world
-Rising wages
-More people in higher education
-More high-quality apprenticeships

I'd prefer this government over your idea of a socialist dystopia.

(Oh, and if you want 'change' then go and vote for it, don't complain)

I find it funny that you criticise Blair with a connective with negative connotations "Even..", yet propose Umunna, a self described Blairite to take over.

TM has only been in government for 6 months. The rest of the time since 2010 has been coalition and Cameron going solo for the last year, considering Cameron was basically a lib dem anyway, you misspelled "centrists" as "Right Wingers."

I suppose you'll magically grow the money to fix this "disgrace" as you call it then? Do QE like Corbyn says and get a Weimar style hyperinflation crisis! But hey ho, at least the scroungers will have their benefits back! 😂

Or I suppose you propose we tax the "fat cats" and "the 1%", yes those people that have succeeded in life and earned their money should have it taken away because all rich people are evil and it should all go to the poor because the government knows best eh!

This so-called "Mansion Tax" is theft, plain and simple, would you like it if I said "oh, your house is big, it's ok if I go in and rob it then." - theft is a crime, criminals are morally bankrupt, therefore the left is morally bankrupt.

Again, the main reason the conservatives have done nothing is because they were blocked on everything by the lib dems for the first five years.

"The main problem with socialism is you eventually run out of other people's money." - Thatcher

I am a fan of Blairism. My reason for choosing the word 'even' is because Blair has been heavily criticised for the war in Iraq and even with that, he was still better than the coalition and Cameron. Brown also wins the award for least popular prime minister. So don't come at me with that rubbish, Umunna is the way to go.

Again, I never said I was a fan of corbyn. I also find it ridiculous when people like you have an issue with QE. That's mostly a decision made by the Bank Of England anyway.

Again, more straw man, im not going to refute a point where you assume im some left wing socialist. Blairism is a largely right wing approach within labour anyway.

More Straw man. Through that logic every form of tax is theft. "I earned this money, why should I pay Income taxes eh?!?!?!?!". Sorry kid, that's not how the world works. Taxation is not theft.

They weren't blocked on everything you mong. It's just an easy way for cuckservatives like you to defend Cameron and his incompetency.

Nice quotes there. Im doing an economics degree at LSE right now so dont lecture me, my knowledge of economics is pretty damn solid.

-More people in work than ever before. Because record numbers of unemployed have had their benefits unfairly taken away or sanctioned. Every person taken off benefits is regarded as being in work even if they are not. There are many people in zero hour contracts, or jobless forced to do unpaid workfare.

-7- day NHS. Yet the NHS is facing cuts elsewhere, long waiting lists and junior Drs working dangerously long hours like they did in the 1980s.

-Fastest growing economy in developed world. Not for long, we have a massive recession coming as the EU boycotts Britain and in years to come possible trade sanctions. Access to a free market is highly unlikely and our only nearest geographical trading partners only if they agree to trade with the UK being Canada, Russia, and India.

-Rising wages. What about the many people doing zero hour contracts or people forced to do unpaid workfare?

-More people in higher education. We would have far more in HE if tuition Fees were cut or abolished.

Yeah keep complaining, the fact is that approval ratings are higher than ever before.
Until there is someone who can take over we will have to make do with what we have.
Well it's pretty bad.The last prime minister gambled the entire country's future on a referendum just to shut some Eurosceptics in his own party up.That is just incompetence at its finest especially when he didn't even manage to win the vote.Actually he did that twice not just once.Although he won that first vote barely.
An what alternative is there? Labour?

Oh yes and elect a terrorist sympathiser , elect a chancellor who called the IRA heroes. Lets elect a diabolical labour led government who would Britain's security risk.
The Tories have made unemployment at nearly record lows, halved the deficit . I could keep going on my time would be wasted on a moron like you
Putting a maximum salary would exactly how increase government revenue???
Means less tax is collected you moron. Go learn a subject called economics.
Never read a more moronic , stupid socialist rant in my entire life!

Not true , people get payed. You have no evidence the unemployment figures are false, conspiracy theories with no evidence. Its better people are in work than receive benefits. Whole point of making work pay! Unfairly taken away? You must be having a ****ing joke! All the hardworking people have to pay tax , including the people you class as fat cats to fund these benefits .Actually most of these people have worked for their money. The majority of millionaires were self made.

Speculation , scare tactics, exactly why remain lost! Remember Corbyn didn't win the support of the labour party and didn't campaign much, at least the Tories gave Britain a choice. You have no evidence to back this point up

Who's paying for this?
Student loans are pretty much accessible to anyone! Most people don't pay them back.
Again avoiding the point , more people are in higher education than under labour and that's the fact.
