DAY 12 - 2ND JANUARY 2017

What I'm grateful for today

The fact I've been (mostly) left to my own devices, meaning I've been able to have quality 'me' time :h:

A random act of kindness I've done

Dyed my mum's hair :yep:

A random act of kindness someone has done for me

Um... not sure anyone's done anything tbh

Things I did well

Read some more of my friend's book and ordered a book I need off Amazon Prime :colone:

Something I could improve on

Reading faster :getmecoat:

What I've achieved today

Read some of my friend's book, meaning I'm closer to being able to write a review about it :colondollar:

What I've done to look after my mental health

Nothing much tbh

Something I have to look forward to

Sleeping. My mum chucked me out of bed way too early for my liking :emo:
DAY 13 - 3RD JANUARY 2017

What I'm grateful for today

I'm going out soon to have a snack and some quality time with my older sister (she heads back to the US on Thurs :cry2: ) in a bit :yep:

A random act of kindness I've done

Um not sure I've done anything... :erm:

A random act of kindness someone has done for me

My mum and dad let me nap rather than waking me up

Things I did well

I've read some more of my friend's book! Just 100 or less pages to go now :woo:

Something I could improve on

Still need to learn to read faster :getmecoat:

What I've achieved today

Taking some time out for myself, and letting myself relax a bit. Also am now up-to-date with my therapy homework :smug:

What I've done to look after my mental health

Had a nap and hidden in my room doing things I enjoy

Something I have to look forward to

Snacking with my sister :h:

No worries! I figured sometimes it's good to hear from someone much older (and thus notionally wiser, lol) :shakecane:

And thanks, was really nice to spend time with my sister :h:

Yep the post was good  we do need a reminder that it's not the end of the world sometimes :yep:

Aww this sounds lovely! :cube:
You are one cheeky Goatherd :mmm:
If you want some motivation, I did 224 marks worth of chemistry questions in 2 hours + 2 hours of revision over 2 days and I've just finished and it feels so good.
Just shows that all that stressing out was silly - but it made me get it done and now I am chilling
You can do it :rave: Uni work is go :ahee:

Yes, my friend is a philosophy academic and he's just released a book which went on sale in the States yesterday (delayed release for the UK, only goes on sale on the 26th here but we can pre-order via Amazon!). It's called Jesus Among Secular Gods. My friend sent me a proof copy of it and asked me to read it pre-release and write reviews about it on various websites soon after it came out. Finally finished it today!
