Yay obviously.
Coffee is amazing in cakes, especially Tiramisu. :cookie:

Coffee cake without walnuts is like Pimms without cucumber :noway:

I take the walnuts off before eating as they distract from the devastating tastiness of coffee cake.

I used to hate coffee cake, but now it has become one of my favourites.

It's one of those cakes that is for refined, superior taste that you can only get through experience.

This sounds like the script to a Waitrose advert. :rofl2:

Tbf, nothing better than a nice plain scone (pronounced like s-con-e, not s-cone) with an obscenely unhealthy amount of butter is absolutely divine!!

In any case, who thought coffee cake could stir up quite a conversation
I'm enjoying some now

And I used to eat the pastry of a bakewell tart, leaving me to enjoy the icing by itself. I'm an animal!

This actually makes you satan 😂😬
One of my favourites definitely.
I love it but I don't need as much of the sweet, creamy icing. They could minimize that and maybe put just on top without being in the middle. I'd also love to try one with a chocolate icing, again not too sweet, like a mocha effect.

Oh and maybe vary the nuts, like Brazils would be awesome.

Some do actually. Not the round ones, they aren't cake.

I just bought a fruit tea cake, with Tea.
