Lost all motivation in Uni/career because of girls, help!!

I've always been focused academically and as result I've done good, but because of this I never talked to girls through secondary school and sixth form. Now that I'm at uni I'm talking to girls all the time and I don't get any work done, doing my work doing well in exams made really happy because I knew I'd start talking to girls after getting the degree but now at uni I've lost all concentration, girls are always on my mind and unlike doing revision and then aceing your exams there is no guarantee with girls, there's heartbreak and what not. WTF do I do?

Remind yourself that girls come and go. The debt and regret from getting a poor degree stick around for a long time.

Can you not wait until the summer? Focus on your studies now and once exams are over, you'll have the summer to do what you want

Ask yourself this, would you rather be a happy and poor old man, or a rich and lonely one?

I'm trying to bring back the motivation I had back in sixth form, just lost it all now

Why?

Because of 'girls'. Just establish an appropriate work/play balance.
If you want to date, date, but don't spend all your time trying to 'find someone'.

i had time at uni, to revise, and spend time talking to girls. you have to try and manage your time better. but seriously don't squander the opposite sex. you are on to a good thing here!
Are you sure there's no other underlying issues here other than the female distraction? Could you just be feeling burnt out? It's possible to have both and not just one or the other.

To be honest I would suggest seeing a university counselor. Perhaps I'm being harsh but you just have to decide how badly you want to graduate.Motivation is fleeting, nobody can run at 100% all the time. It's okay to rest and relax but you need discipline and a routine again. By all means you can still chase girls but you need to make time for studying first.

A jim rohn quote " you can't pay someone to do YOUR pushups for YOU." What are your whys? Why do you even want this degree? Sacrifice your now for your future rather than looking back and regretting not working hard enough.

Try and manage your time, for example spend two nights a week socialising, three working, and the rest eating/sleeping okay???
You're just talking to them? Shagging a different one every night would be an acceptable reason to neglect your degree, but merely having conversations is not. So either take things a step further or spend more time in the library.
how is just talking to them distracting? sounds more like you are scheming too much
