How should I talk to my teacher about this?

In sociology I find the work we do in class extremely easy and I usually class, plate the tasks were in given in 1/4 of the time of everyone else, consequently I spend a lot of the time in class idling.

How can I speak to my teacher about this and what solutions can I extend to them without sounding arrogant.

One thing you can do (I used to do it in maths) is to just take out your own textbook and study ahead or revise other content etc. Better than being idle

Just let them know that you've finished the work?
Any decent teacher wouldn't allow you to just sit there wasting time in an a level class.

If not, then just do what previous commented suggested.
