Let's narrow it down a bit, it's a 2008 game and the last proper game in the series (there has been an awful Wii installment and 3 iOS games since)

At first from the graphics I thought it was company of heroes but the hmg didn't have a stand. Only other WWII shooters I could think of were CoD (which it blatantly wasn't) and medal of honour allied assault with all the glorious potato graphics.
