Virgin Trains from London to Birmingham and return.
No, I drive a Porsche because I'm a doctor, not a peasant.
Well, I have never paid to ride first class, no....

So why does your profile say you are a science undergraduate preparing to start an MSc in 2017?

Yea I saw the link - but the problem is that sometimes you get a snack box with like a tiny bacon roll and a can of pop and sometimes you get a full english breakfast. Its not specific on when you get what!

What! You drive yourself?

You don't have a steward to serve you breakfast and unlimited tea while you travel?

How sad.
Ive never been on a train in my whole life span consisting of 18 years......

How do you travel distances too long to cycle or walk but too near to fly to and that have very poor parking?

I think it's called sarcasm, correct me if I'm wrong
Yes, but it really wasn't that much of an upgrade (Transpennine Express).

Have rarely managed to get a seat on journeys from Stockport/Picadilly to Sheffield and vice versa, therefore decided one time to upgrade to first class (which was like a £5 upgrade). Nothing amazing, but it was a peaceful journey in a spacious seat.
It's not worth it.
