Pros and Cons of being Single

Tsr is depressing.

Why are there so many terrible, petty excuses being made to justify being single when clearly folks don't want to. Far enough if you are asexual (which is still a shame mind you... sex is so much fun... but w/e) though.

+1 the girl on the first page who pointed out, rather correctly, that you can get ample sex when single. Depending on your career maybe more (you get a lot of sex doing security work).

What do you mean exactly?
I can't think of any cons!! Yay!!

Well to be fair, you can be lonely and not want to be single while at the same time realising you're not in the right mindset or state of mind to be seeking out a relationship currently.

But is that truly -wanting- to be single?

It is what they choose in a fairly *****y situation but it isn't like they actually fundamentally desire it.

Well no, but sometimes what we desire is not necessarily what is good for us at the time.

It's the position I'm in at the moment anyway.

Do I like being single? No.

Am I lonely? Yes.

But I don't think I should get into a relationship just because I'm lonely. I should get into one because I am ready to be in one. And currently I am not.
