What does "10 to the six" mean in Maths?

What does ten to the six mean? Does it mean ten to the power of 6?

Yes it does. It's just a shortened way of saying it.

Please use more descriptive thread titles for future threads, thanks
It means it is nearly teatime.

It works algebraically too: for nmn^m you say "n to the m", not "n to the power (of) m".

If we accept that "teatime = 10^6", then, on Friday, what is the corresponding expression for 5^5?

Indeed. That's a question that truly separates the (old) men from the boys.
