Bioengineering Personal Statement

Hi guys, just finished my personal statement but i feel like something is missing from it, maybe a personal touch, I'm not sure if it sounds to formal etc. would anybody mind looking over it? any help would be much appreciated. I was silly to leave it this late so need to get it sorted ASAP!!!
