All colleges (afaik) send letters to Offer holders. But yeah whatever the communications procedure is for the fishng college is what they will do.

What does it mean if you get a letter from a different college than the one you applied for?

Does It mean you have an offer?

Thank you! Just arrived at Selwyn, nice to be greeted by a porter who's spent time in my area near to where I live, it's comforting! I feel hideously underdressed though, walked into he porters lodge and saw a bunch of guys wearing black bow ties 😳🙈

Is anyone waiting until you get home from school to open or are you all just going to open the email in school? One of my friends opened his rejection email from Oxford in front of the class and it was pretty awkward, and depressing...

As the Oxford thread dies down here's my memorial to the fallen including myself:

There's a grief that can't be spoken.
There's a pain goes on and on.
Empty chairs at empty tables
Now almost all applicants are rejected and gone.

Here we talked of offers/rejection.
Here it was we lit the flame.
Here we sang about tomorrow
And tomorrow never came......... :frown:
