Can you show your working? You should be making use of your knowledge of the factor theorem if you don't know where to start.

The factor theorem states, if xb x-b is a factor of f(x) f(x) , this implies f(b)=0 f(b) = 0

A factor means y is zero when x is a

No. f(2)=0f(2)=0 because (x2)(x-2) is a factor.
