People say im too fat to be in a relationship.

I am not fat! just to start i should clarify that, but i am not some little pencil girl. I have the body of a woman. People gossip about me, saying that the only people who would date me are people who are into fat chicks. I flirt with some guys and they flirt back but i have never been asked out or even kissed anyone. My goal is to have a boyfriend or girlfriend before prom. Could u guys give me some advice on how to get a bf/gf? xx -Beth

Pretty much nobody is too fat to be in a relationship.

I don't think advice can really be given on how to get a boyfriend/girlfriend except maybe be more active in your search? Start socialising more and be the one to initiate. Don't put all your eggs in one basket, talk to multiple potentials. If you're looking for a relationship then put your effort into others who you also think want a relationship instead of people that just want to flirt and have fun. Really though, getting a boyfriend/girlfriend within a certain time period shouldn't be a goal.

Dont change yourself for others, be yourself.Instead of looking for a girlfriend or boyfriend and flirting just try and make friends and get to know people through mutually shared interests or hobbies maybe and then maybe if they get to know you better they might develop a romantic interest in you based on your personality not on how you look, just get to knwo people as friends dont be actively looking for love thats what i say. That potential girlfriend or boyfriend may already be an acquaintance of yours but maybe they dont know you well enough to have a romantic interest in you?Dont listen to these people they are probably just insecure about themselves and are trying to put you down.Remember you dont need to be in a relationship to feel great about yourself or anything like that, try and be strong and independent, dont be reliant on others to control how you feel and allowing them to determine your value.Looks aren't everything, its whats on the inside, and if these people cant see it then they're blind and remember beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Relationships is a long road, with many pitfalls.

If you want to attract someone then you need to make the effort where you actually meet boys, then you need to let them get to know you so they can see that you are attractive.

Just common sense things as how you look (physical), but you can also take care of your grooming. Within that limitation some bots will be intersted in skinny and some will not care. You are only interested in the wones who dont see ti as an issue.

You also need to think about whether you are good company and if you have things in common. Funny, interesting, thoughtful, confident etc. Boys will also be interested in how available you are as well as how laid back you can be.
