Trump attacks John Lewis

Woke up this morning to hear that the President-Elect has been bashing John Lewis.

Deeply puzzled at this assault on our leading retail brand. Did he have a bad experience with a table lamp? Do they even sell gold-leafed table lamps? Or was it a Waitrose salad that sent him over the edge?

You mean one of the six leaders of the March on Washington who has been arressted multiple times for standing up for what he believes in and actually done something worthwhile, has been called "all talk" by a shaved orangutan who himself has said he thinks Russia carried out hacking attacks during the election.

Yes but this doesn't allow him to criticise Trump's democratic mandate without subjecting himself to political criticism.

Trump has gone out of his way to attack ordinary Americans, and those are the actions of a bully. He has also attacked McCain's war record, which are the actions of a detestable human, but you can't really say that an opposition politician is above political criticism.

I can't imagine Trump being a fan of our John Lewis either as it's a successful worker's cooperative and he doesn't strike me as the sort of man who likes to share.

Not above political criticism but saying he is "all talk" has got to be one of the dumbest attacks anyone could possibly come up with.

Said the pot to the kettle :laugh:. Trump should get off Twitter and focus on doing the job he was elected to do.

Lewis is a man who has achieved a lot through his own struggles, bravery and hard work, unlike the one who has had everything handed to him on a platter and has yet to show similar qualities :yep:

It's rather amazing that our current government haven't yet come up with a wheeze by which they can legislate the JLP out of existence - it must be offensive to the modern extremist neoliberal mind that an employee-owned business can do so well. :rolleyes:
