as suggested in the title this is a sector question.

the question

a pair of these cutters (the sector) are kept together in a rectangular box of length a cm and b width the cutters fit in the box as shown by figure 2 (what i drew)

find value of a and b to 3 sig fig

Considering that image, notice how you can create a right triangle using the length given to you. Using trigonometric ratios, you can find the length of A. Then, given that the two curves are sectors, notice how you can construct a circle with radius A. Then it's a matter of finding the small side of the right triangle using trigonometry and adding the radii to find B.
