I'm not doing English A level but I read Nineteen Eight-four and it is a really enjoyable book to read.

I'm doing The Great Gatsby (:frown:), Christina Rossetti, and Hamlet too :smile: Also The Portrait of a Lady and An Ideal Husband. (OCR.) Trying to choose the post-1900 stuff but it's more difficult than you might think!

I'm unfortunately with the idiots that are WJEC. But I'm doing The Tempest, Rossetti's Selected Poems, and Wide Sargasso Sea (coursework) this year. It doesn't help that the teachers are terribe too but what can you do! haha (199th/212 schools in Wales):rolleyes::unimpressed: ah well.
