You need to check uni courses very carefully - some will want Maths and even Physics.

Engineering is a scientific discipline.
I'm in year 12 now, and want to do design engineering too. I've chosen maths, further maths, physics and product design. I'm pretty sure you do need maths, especially if you want to do a BEng or MEng. Unless it's just a design course that you're after

Doing engineering at university without maths is like doing medicine without chemistry. Don't do engineering even if the university doesn't require maths. Trust me it's just gonna make uni difficult for you. You could do a foundation course so you get some basic maths knowledge. Just GCSE maths is not gonna help you at uni. Rest is up to you. Good luck!!!

Loughborough's requirements are fairly typical

Not having Maths (or Physics) will significantly limit your university choices.

Reread the link... Maths is required.

...and either Physics, Design and Technology or Engineering.
