Do we really need another thread on this issue?

It's been done to death.

I agree. There's probably been more threads about Trump than actual student issues.
Some of the people can be pleased all of the time.
All of the people can be pleased some of the time.
It's impossible to please all of the people all of the time.

I'm no fan of Trump, but this just reeks of Trump's adversaries whipping up a frenzy because - they lost and can't bear it.

Everyone had the chance to vote, but hey, it's the majority of the voting population in outstanding hubris that decided not to.

Trump won his authority fairly and now has a term in office which the law say's he can be voted out AFTER his term comes to and end.
Trump's new administration also appear to believe in a version of holocaust denial, eg, that Jews were not specific targets of Hitler's policies.

There is a definite fascist feel to the new government, the dead hand of the Breitbarters and the alt-right are all over it.

We are no longer living in normal times.

A fascist coup is being attempted in the world's largest power. Does it surprise you that it is being discussed?
a society with no Islam is a better society.

Hitler was elected democratically. We have to accept that democracy is flawed, and it is up to us the people to destroy fascism whenever it rears its ugly head, elected or not.

So what International law has Trump broken?

Trump could easily say that Islam is a global fascist political ideology masquerading as a pacifist religion.

But the argument is not about Islam, it's about Homeland Security and trying to learn from the lessons of the terrorist attacks all over Europe and the Middle East.

The U.S. has largely escaped so far and Trump wants to send a clear message that it's going to stay that way.

Stop calling them the "alt-right", they are neo-nazis hiding under that friendlier mask. They are the ghost of a dark past.

Yes, fair comment. When you combine holocaust denial with the deliberate stirring of race hate against a specific minority community and a desire to stir up war with other nations, then yes, you have what is basically a Nazi government in the making.

Extremist white supremacists have a new name, AKA the 'Alt-right'. Sad times
Whether you agree with it or not, he won the election and has a mandate from the American people to implement this immigration policy. I don't see what it has to do with us over here. It is up to them how many Syrians the grant visas to.

Same reason we invaded Nazi Germany. Because we don't want fascists anywhere in the world.

Does that include religious fascism?
Why on Earth is Obama sticking his oar in? His time in the spotlight is over and he should give way to President Trump.

There's a difference between democracy being flawed and people not realising what they were truly voting for.

You would think someone who killed people in most of these countries and did something similar to one would realise how hypocritical it is to complain when someone else does it just because they are on the opposite side to you.
