"The data in Times Higher Education ranking of The World’s Most International Universities 2017 ....... Taking into account a university’s proportions of international students, international staff and journal publications with at least one international co‐author."

And none of this will make any difference at all to the average undergraduate.

What a load of meaningless rubbish. Why on earth is TSR even publishing this silliness?

Amongst lawyers.

Now try asking some ordinary folks to name American universities.

If you've watched Gossip Girl, you will know a few American unis.

Ok. So what are the major year-on-year ranking changes? Especially UK, US?

(I don't have a THE sub so can't check.)

I have no knowledge if this is paid content - but let's say it is... what keeps this site going? $$$$s from advertising, sponsored content, official reps, etc.

Without $$$$s there's no TSR.

There's no paywall or subscriptions (any more).

It can only survive by monetising its audience. That's how (most of) the interweb works.

I agree, but if it's gonna make money, surely it should do it honestly? Surely they should do it without obvious clickbait titles that are completely misleading under the guise of an informative honest post. It's poor tactics and it seriously doesn't appeal to their userbase.
Really, is there any doubt in your mind that this is paid content?
No doubt Oxford and Cambridge are remarkable institutions, but tradition aside this is the modern age, and many universities now offer just as good quality.
Who would have thought that a good university in the capital of the country would be the "most international".

Honestly it's hardly suprising. Bit of clickbait tbh.
Well, Imperial is New China in many ways.
However Trump University trumps all university's!

Massive changes. The Top 2 dropped off, for example. UK universities all climbed up quickly.

This is because they added "international reputation" (25%) to weed out all the random universities no-one knows about and excluded universities that are not Top 500 on the main table.
