I'm a programme leader at a university, and at a meeting, we were discussing reducing the number of Lecture and Seminar hours from 12 to 8 hours max.. 1 hour lecture 1 hour seminar, for each of the 4 modules.
Me and other staff, don't agree with this, it will dumb down the course, and lead to poor attendance issues. In addition, we can see grades slipping..... and will offer less value for money. It's a Humanities-based degree.

definitely not, with higher tuition fees students expect more contact hours not less.
