Core 4 trigonometry

So .... what do I do from the last bit....

I have to solve the equation and I don't know what to do, have I been doing it right

Third line has a mistake on the numerator. You shouldn't be multiplying by the 3-3. Have another look at it.

Also I recommend using cos2x=12sin2x\cos 2x = 1-2\sin^2 x instead. Then your equation will only have sines at an earlier stage of the working.
