RVC Vet Nursing Applicants 2017

How far along are you guys in you applications?? So far I've had an interview for Feb 15th in the afternoon!! Will I see any of you there? I also have a Middlesex one the next morning, Feb 16th.

How much work experience have you guys had?
How much more are you going to gain?

Wow well done!! I'm aiming for the RVC too but maybe Middlesex if not. How far are you from London?? I'm a good 4.5 hour drive at least >_<

Honestly I have been living with my parents and my 5 brothers for a long time, aha i'm 17 right now, but I don't really mind how far away the uni is. I just really hope I do brilliant in my interview and get a place. Also my friends are going to UCL so that also would be pretty good. But yeah... the distance away from my house is not really a concern for me,i'm more focused on becoming a good vet!

I can't say I have any siblings but I can't wait to get away from my very small town in the middle of nowhere compared to London 🙃 I hope that will be my focus also though I can't say London won't tempt me with other fun things sometimes 😆 Do you want to specialise if you get the chance??

Yeah exotics, I have a pet Beardie and have become quite fond of reptiles .
Also I like General mixed practice or mabye a vet referral. BTW have you always wanted to be a vet nurse? , and why did you not want to become a vet?

Honestly? I wanted to become a Vet at first. Turns out it's not the best idea for someone who doesn't want it to literally overtake their entire life. Or so other vets told me when I was on work experience 😆
I think being a vet nurse interests me more as you are involved in a different way and I somehow think they end up seeing the animals in a different way as it isn't just another operation for them. Their role is different in a way I find suits me.
Am I marking any sense?? I should probably practice this before my interview huh?? 😂😂 what about you???

Update!!
So Far I've received a conditional offer from Myerscough (a back up for my back up Middlesex, 2nd or 3rd choice so far, and today I received an offer from Hartpury (again 2nd or 3rd) after my interview last Wednesday!! I'm super proud and still waiting on RVC to reply and have an interview at Harper Adams tomorrow!! This is getting really real for me right now and I've barely looked at student finance 😳 Should I be worried???

Omigosh well done! I wanted to try for that but I don't think I fit the criteria they wanted 🙁 If/when I get an offer it is definitely going down as my first choice though 😁😁😁
