Who is your all-time favourite movie character?

Don't think anyone can one-up 'Gandalf the White'.

Spoiler

Of all the scenes you choose for Gandalf you choose that?!

Gandalf the Grey is way cooler, he has given me the perfect excuse for every occasion.

He hasn't seen his willy in two years...
Alex DeLarge-from A Clockwork Orange

or

Klaus Baudelaire-Lemony Snicket: A Series of Unfortunate Events.
The best character in any film ever is...

Captain Benjamin L. Willard in Apocalypse Now (Redux), it is certainly the most harrowing account of what being in the jungle for too long does to the human mind.

Holly Golightly

Trevor Reznik from the Machinist
Colonel Hans Landa is up there.

All the other scenes were too mainstream - everyone knows them.
The shots in this one were incredible though.

If you were going to use "non-mainstream" you would have chosen something from the extended cut.

Yeah he is a horrible person in both the book and film but in terms of his character development, he makes an interesting character, despite how evil he is. He's unlike most other kind of villains. My favourite good character ever would have to be Samwise Gamgee :teehee:

So your question refers to fictional characters, not to the played actors? In this sense, I like Jack Sparrow from pirates of the caribbean the most.

Still don't think that scene is too mainstream among the others.

Everybody's favorite genius playboy billionaire philanthropist! (unless you like Batman more, I guess...)

Such a beautiful but flawed character! Poor Tony, I hope he doesn't have a rough time in Spider-Man Homecoming. <3

Spoiler

Clarice Starling
Bruce Wayne/Batman in the Dark Knight trilogy.

Christian Bale was just awesome in his portrayal and I see others have picked him in his other movies......just shows how good he is!

Agree completely with you. The best batman who was ever acted in a film. Anyway it is my favorite-of-all-time batman film.
