The weirdest Valentine's Day gift ever?

It's Valentine's Day soon, so some people are probably rushing around buying expensive chocolates and roses to woo their loved ones.

However, would you pay £17 for a single strawberry in a box as a gift for your loved one?

A supermarket in Hong Kong is selling the ‘Kotoka strawberry gift box’: an single, wrapped strawberry on a bed of synthetic straw and styrofoam, the single fruit is imported ‘fresh by air’ from Japan, and is said to be hand-picked.

This is hilarious. And possibly the weirdest Valentine's Day gift ever.

Has anyone here got any better ideas for Valentine's Day gifts?

Stay classy, mate.
That is only a good idea and for that sum of money you may buy a kilo of strawberries, put them in a nice box and wrap with the silk ribbon.

I think it would be weirder if it were a single sachet of strawberry lube, but everything else the same.
I think buying like a few strawberries and melting some chocolate to dip them into is cute and I would be fine with that.
I love strawberries, personally (especially if they are nice and sweet):mmm:
Tbh, Valentine's shouldn't just be about the gifts.

I'm so glad you're not my valentine.
Going half and half on pizza and watching TV on the sofa in my company. 👍

A friendship card to emphasise your friendship on a 'romantic' day.
