Porn and video games are replacing Christianity as the common language of American conservatives

These are bad: Islam. Feminism. Democracy. Black Lives Matter. The new Ghostbusters movie. Egalitarianism. Political correctness. God. Immigration. Hillary Clinton. Newspapers. Government. Academia. Liberalism.

Democracy

And there was me thinking it was the left protesting the democratic system.

An article from August, but I think its worth pondering, especially when it brings up the topic of radical atheists, who I think are a great threat to modern civilisation, more so than radical islamists actually, due to their greater numbers and tech-savviness.

The new form of racism seems much more menacing than the old type of racism.

Stopped taking this seriously after you said radical atheists are a bigger threat than radical Islam

Can we first start off by defining what a radical atheist is?

These radical internet atheists at the heart of the alt-right movement are anti-God, anti-liberalism, and anti-immigration.

I am anti-God, too.

I fail to see how that is dangerous.

I'm confused. Don't you support Egalitarianism as opposed to Feminism?

It's better than the new face of 'liberal tolerance'. Village magazine's latest edition has cross hairs pinned to President Trump's head.

I'm actually not trolling. The number of radical atheists in this country is YUUGE, and increasing rapidly. Islamism is helping drive the growth of radical atheism, but it is radical atheism that will ultimately usher in racist nationalism in Europe, not islamism.

Haha... ha.
once again the alt right doesnt exist it is a group that stupid liberals put everyone who is right wing in to try and make them seem evil racists.

This article is pure trash and so is your opinion on athiest.that good and bad section is so stupid

I agree
The argument is moot: the Christian right voted for Trump in droves and have even argued he was sent by God for their political salvation. To me, a tolerant atheist, that means 2 things: 1) the language of Christianity still provides the basic vocabulary of the right and 2) they are simple hypocrites whose Christian concepts and vocabulary are self-serving nonsense if they can vote for a man as amoral as Trump.

the Christian right voted for Trump in droves and have even argued he was sent by God for their political salvation.

They did?

When, exactly?
Trump represents the beginning of egotistical arrogance. Sadly, people like the person who wrote the article are precisely the reason Trump won, for two reasons. The author represents a growing group of people who shallowly come to and defend their bottom-line religiously; this represents the majority of the alt-right and left. The style in which the left and right delivers their rebuttals is in the form of insults - with the right being more brazen and the left adopting a bizarre method of insulting white working class people by using half-joke, sarcastic, patronising rhetoric. Secondly, the identity politics used to promote ideals like BLM, Feminism and immigration are naturally divisive. Intersectionality is utterly ridiculous; how do you bolster support using in-group mentality and then want to unite people based on those same recruitment tactics? If you say, 'black people need to stop being shot, men need to fix the pay gap and stop being misogynists, and white men are just privileged and need to listen to us', you are not going to be successful because the majority of voters are typically white and male. Trump is the result of these *****y tactics, and sadly, emotional, identity politics is replacing real leftist ideals.
