Hi XOR,

Both universities are really great for CS but I am sure you already know that. I think what it comes down to is personal preference. Which course do you like more? Which course offers a placement year? What opportunities do you have?

Of course you need to look at other factors as well such as urban vs. suburban, accommodation, student life etc... but the course is definitely the most important because you are there to get an education after all :wink:

This week is Student Finance Week on TSR and Bath was featured heavily in the each Q and A session. I would suggest looking through those threads because they give some insightful information about Bath in general. If you still have any questions you can also tag Bath's rep on TSR.

Also tagging in @SeanFM to see if he has more insight about Bath.

Bath's course looks proper tough. Haven't looked at Birmingham's. Just glad I go to an ex-poly and can chill out a bit.

What league table? Usually it is Oxbridge and Imperial at the top and the rest of universities in the top 15 are all pretty much dependent on work placements/ personal preference depending on which course you like better.

How far is off-campus accommodation? are there places in walking distance?(I've seen a long queue for buses in a video)
