Feminist Guardian Journalist - "All men should be shot" Tweet.

Background

Julie Bindel is a British feminist activist, author and free lance journalist. She is a former 'academic', who has worked for Lincoln University and Leeds Metropolitan University. She is also a patron for feminist charities such as "For our Daughters" and the co-founder of "Justice for Women" a group which campaigns for the rights of women who have murdered their partners (yup, you cannot make this stuff up). She writes regularly for The Guardian. She is also a regular fixture on the BBC and in universities around the country, where she makes a living from giving lectures to students on feminism and feminist issues. In 2010 she was picked by The Independent as one of Britains top 'most influential gay and lesbian people'.

Amongst non-feminists, she is popular for her hate filled sexist views towards men. The most recent examples include her proposing, in an interview with a feminist magazine in 2015, that women imprison all men in concentration camps until they behaved like 'human beings':

https://web.archive.org/web/20150904155320/http://www.radfemcollective.org/news/2015/8/29/an-interview-with-julie-bindel

and the sexist tweets in late 2016 shown above.

Despite the fact that her sexist remarks are against the law and subject to litigation, she has never been held to account and she carries on working as normal in all her posts, to this day.

We live in a society where men are being openly discriminated against in public forums without question. A society that empowers misandry. A society that gives feminists a platform to commit sexists acts without challenge. A society that provides them with the tools they need to spread and enforce their blind hate.

Isn't putting men in prison then shooting them a bit of a redundancy? Surely if you shoot them first, you don't need to bother with the prison bit?
But we need men

I'll never understand these Feminazis
Ah, The Guardian's top journalists.
This is outside the topic being discussed here but, anti-marrige is an integral part of feminist activism. You would struggle to find a single feminist thinker that supports the idea.

"Since marriage constitutes slavery for women, it is clear that the women’s movement must concentrate on attacking this institution. Freedom for women cannot be won without the abolition of marriage."
Sheila Cronin, the leader of the feminist organization NOW, feminist.

"The incest taboo can be destroyed only by destroying the nuclear family as the primary institution of the culture."
Shulamith Firestone, feminist- The Dialectics of Sex

"The nuclear family must be destroyed… Whatever its ultimate meaning, the break-up of families now is an objectively revolutionary process."
Linda Gordon, feminist.

"Marriage as an institution developed from rape as a practice."
Andrea Dworkin, feminist.

"The institution of sexual intercourse is anti-feminist."
Ti-Grace Atkinson, feminist.

Disgusting attitude and views
I think that in this particular instance she was probably taking the piss, trying to trolll the trolls if you like, but nevertheless, it is completely unacceptable for a woman of her profession to be posting this guff.

Someone has daddy issues. And without men who will blow my back out
Like obviously this is bad but I hate how people just exploit the things radical feminists and straight up lunatics say in order to support their personal beliefs
I don't want to turn this into a debate about feminism and radicalism. This "Radical feminism" argument is usually one used by people who do not understand the meaning of the words radical or feminism, in a hopeless attempt to defend what are indefensible feminist actions......Regardless, Julie Bindel is not a 'radical feminist'.....she is a self described feminist......read her biography, watch her lectures in universities and her debates and please, stop trying to distort the truth...

Feminist ideology is liberal, it remains liberal regardless of whether or not it is radical....

In regards to your reply about marriage...one, you failed to provide a single example to substantiate your claim and two, you ignored the quote by the non-radical feminist and the website to come to your erroneous conclusions. If you want more examples from 'non-radicals' let me know..but yes, this is a different topic....

Putting the two together: white men = fair game.

And they still can't quite work out how Trump happened...

Goldsmith University Diversity officer/feminist. Interesting story behind this girl. She became famous after banning men and "whites" from attending an event at Goldsmith University.

She might think differently after her first graduate job interview... Can't stay in the playpen for ever.

Feminism should help disadvantaged males too, like the white working class male, as well as women

Feminism runs this country...If you live in a society run by sexist racists and you conform with their views you will become a success as apposed to a failure....She most likely will become extremely successful as a result of these sexist, racist views or in the least be protected and allowed to carry on with her abuse.

This girl's story happened at the same time as another story that involved Nobel Prize winning UCL Professor Tim Hunt. In a conference in South Korea, he jokingly said that you cannot work with women in labs because you either wind up falling in love with them or they cry....he wound up shamed and abused across the media. He was forced into resignation from his job.....As for this girl, this feminist? she kept her job despite nearly thirty thousand people signing a petition to have her removed from her student welfare role....Not only that but she went on to abuse men once again in a #KillAlWhitelMen tweet in 2015....As a result of this tweet, she was charged by the police but the charges against her were dropped by the CPS....The Guardian's Charlie Brinkhurst-Cuff (a feminist) celebrated this outcome with an article titled

"I’m glad the CPS saw Bahar Mustafa’s #killallwhitemen tweet in context"

https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2015/nov/05/cps-bahar-mustafa-killallwhitemen-tweet-goldsmiths

If you are abused, if your abuser is a feminist, be sure that she will get away with it.... Hell, a woman can rape you in this country and not be charged with rape thanks to feminism. Men need to wake up to the reality of life for their gender in this country.
