Exam Question

Heres a question that I had in the most recent mock we done and i'm not too sure how to solve it, additionally I cannot just ask my teacher as it's half term. If someone could tell me the answer along with the steps that would be great,

Question:
Simplify (2/sqrt(2))^3
Give your answer in the form a*sqrt(2) where a is an integer.

I couldn't understand how I would get the fraction into the specified form, I feel as though there is some integral concept that I am not aware of.

Thanks in advance,

What is 2 \sqrt{2} in index form?

Now, what is 22 \displaystyle \frac{2}{\sqrt{2}} in index form? Raise this to the power of 3 and can you see what to do from here?
