Hilarious Daily Mail smear against MI6 agent who exposed Trump

This Daily Fail smear is so hilariously desperate

Apparently the highly-respected former MI6 officer, Mr Steele, who spent decades serving his country and running covert operations against the Russian state before investigating the Trump-Kremlin connection, said something mean to someone at Cambridge 32 years ago. The butthurt source of the story, a Mr Forman, apparently never got over it.

running covert operations against the Russian state

So covert in fact, that a SJW with Trump derangement syndrome knows all about them!

I don't think it's a surprise that British intelligence did run (and probably still runs) covert ops against Russia.

Agreed.

However, the OP made a specific claim:

Mr Steele, who spent decades serving his country and running covert operations against the Russian state

While British intelligence most certainly ran operations against the Soviets it was not the kind of thing they advertised and most certainly they would never announce the names of individual agents actually running the COVERT operations.

Furthermore, agents involved in such operations would not be at liberty to discuss said operations, ever.

So, we must assume that the sexing up of Mr Steele's CV was done to give credibility to Steeles unverifiable hit piece on Trump.

Honestly, the word covert should have given the OP an heads up.

Desperate stuff.

Sources say that he ran MI6's Russia desk. And he certainly seems to have some knowledge of working with the Russians - which would explain why he was selected to take a leading role in the Litvinenko investigation.

In any event - your opinion on Steele's credibility counts for little. US Intelligence have corroborated some of the contents of his dossier and the investigation looks set to continue.

Part of me wonders whether there was any need for this dossier. Trump and his team are doing a good job of showing themselves up to be utter morons!

Sources

Which sources,exactly?

US intelligence have corroborated which bits of the dossier, exactly?

Now, i don't expect you to answer either of my questions because you don't know the answer to them, you're simply parroting what you've heard other Trump derangement suffers saying.

Or, you could prove me wrong and address both questions!

You seem to be confused. Steele ran MI6's Russia desk.

Coolio seems to be quite confused. As you rightly say, Steele ran MI6's Russia desk. Which means he ran covert operations against the Russian government. That's not a controversial statement (at least, for someone who isn't a butthurt Trumpian blowhard... which I guess excludes Coolio)

OK, you have a link to a credible source to prove that?

 So now you're changing your position. Before you implicitly accepted he ran the Russia desk but then claimed that somehow we couldn't possibly know if he was involved in running covert operations against the Russian state. Now you know that's a preposterous position which would make you look even stupider than you already do, and expose you to even more contempt than that in which you're already held by intelligent TSRians, you change tack and imply that we don't know he ran the Russia desk?

Okkkaaayyyy

No link then.

What a surprise.

You're right. Christopher Steele wasn't an MI6 agent. He's never stepped foot in Russia.

Mr Steele worked in IT. One night, at a pub, he bet with his friends that he could, somehow, convince MI6 that he has experience of working with the Russians. By doing this, he'd be assigned to a highly involved position on a major investigation into Russian involvement in the death of a former KGB spy.

The plan was that he'd get the job, LOLs would be had and that would be it.

Steele went a bit too far. Managed to be very good at what he did - so much so that people in the intelligence community rated him highly. He set up his own business and got contracts - through sheer luck - on big jobs. Like corruption in the World Cup bidding process and the Trump/Putin relationship.

His mates (who still go to the Red Lion every Friday) agree it's all gone too far.

But yes, Coolio. You are right. Steele has no status whatsoever.

You and Alex need to understand these simple truths:

The real world isn't like your weekly meeting of Teens With Acne Against Trump were anything bad said about Trump is accepted as gospel.

In the real world your claims will be questioned, and you will be asked to provide credible evidence.

Sorry, but real life isn't like a TWAAT meeting.

Well said. The sad thing is, most of the real facts about Trump never made it to the people who elected him.

Who'd have thought? A rumour-peddling vicious sneaky denouncer working at MI6. Pretty astonishing stuff.

Of course, with those skills, he would have also done well at the Mail. They are probably just jealous.

Shame you don't apply this standard to Trump!

- Trump makes accusations of voter fraud: no evidence provided
- Trump gets upset at the poor turnout for is inauguration: makes up 'alternative facts' to cope
- Trump struggles to justify his muslim ban: creates a massacre which never happened to help out
- Trump seeks to call out media on their coverage of Terror attacks: produces a list including made up events and widely reported terror attacks
- In a further attempt to call out the press Trump made pretended that the murder rate was the highest it had been in 47 years.

I was just pointing out your double standards.

You are pathetic. You accuse those you disagree with of desperation, but that is just complete and utter hypocrisy. Just look at the state of your last few posts, **** me...

On top of that, you cry ad hominem when someone insults you, but it's ok when you do it right?

It's like you can't accept that Mr Trump is the worst presidential candidate in history.. Anyone insultung him must be a hardcore SJW in your warped mind. The man couldn't run a brothel, nevermind a ****ing country the size of the US.
