If you see yourself as someone who is ugly and boring well you will never get a girlfriend.

Being ugly and boring are things you can improve, I bet you arent even ugly. If anyone has to lower their standards its the girls not you.

You have to love yourself before you can love somebody else.

"Lowering your standards" as in trying to force a change in your sexual preferences? They tried to do that with the gays years ago, didn't work out so good.

Don't try and chase girls you're not actually attracted to, with the subjectivity of it all people attracted to you should come along eventually. You're supposed to find your crushes pretty, that's the whole idea.

There is no objective "better" in the game of being attractive my friend, guys I'd consider ugly have gotten with girls I'd consider incredibly attractive before.

The issue here is your self esteem, not any actual physical thing in objective reality.

While attractivness isn't objective it's not entirly subjective either. I hate to be the rain on the positivitiy parade but you can be ugly to the majority of people - often 'unattractive' traits are also negative traits from an evolutionary perspective. There probably will be a % of people out there that find you attractive but whether you meet them or not is down to chance. The more 'positive' traits you have the more likely you are to find them

If something was to be entirely subjective you'd likely end up with majority opinions forming by random chance anyway. Sure there's conventions as you can't just shake off products of evolution, however a lot of evolutionarily irrelevant (I ****in love making up phrases) traits carry a lotta weight to people these days, and opinions on such do vary madly. Even things that science would claim are extremely relevant tend to be not taken into account at all by some.

I'd say there's no objectively attractive things as in the end regardless of whatever convention there's always exceptions (BBW category on porn springs to mind), and for anything to be 'positive' in the sense you seem to mean would imply that the trait would have to be desirable for 100% of people, which is never the case.
