Are my grades good enough?

I got 3A*'s and 7A's at GCSE and I'm predicted 4 A's at AS level.

Are these grades okay for St Andrews?

I'm considering studying either law, international relations or history.

If you've studied there how did you find it?

There is no law at StA. IR is extremely competitive, so your grades have to be perfect and that won't be enough.

I did for two years, hated every aspect of it and eventually dropped out. No regrets.

Nah you need 4 A* at AS level minimum.

Clearly it's not possible.

I loved my time here, I applied for Arabic and History with worse grades at GCSE than you and an IB predicted of 36 and got in. PS matter!

Grades were better than mine and I managed to get in? As previous people have said, IR is extremely competitive but they also take into account your PS. Good luck with the application.

You also applied for Arabic and MH and not IR directly....
I got worse GCSEs than you and I've got an offer. That's for English though, not sure how competitive it is relative to IR.
