Maths problem- HELP!

I have to pass the maths BKSB for sixth form by next Thursday. Don't know why as I got a B at maths GCSE...
This is the question I keep getting wrong and don't understand:

The energy saving from recycling one glass bottle will power the oven Adam uses cook the turkey for 7.5 minutes.
Glass used for recycling costs 5p per kilogram.
A glass bottle weighs 500 grams.
How much would the recycled glass cost to power the oven for 6 hours?

mass of glass bottle = 500x10^-3 kg
time= 6x60 = 360 min
No of glass bottles = 360/7.5= 48 bottles
total mass of bottles = 500x10^-3 x48 = 24 kg
Total cost = 5x24 = 120p = £1.20
There's nothing to grrr about. 7.5min or 1/8 hour requires 500 g = 0.5 Kg of glass (1 glass) 1 hour requires = 8 x 0.5 = 4 Kg glass 6 hours will require = 6 x 4 = 24 Kg 1 Kg costs = 5p 24 Kg cost = 5 x 24 = 120p

okay sooo m baad at explainingg smthn :P ihope u cn get it
1kg->1000g
so 5p->1000g
for 500g->x(we hv to find x) :biggrin: so umm cross multiplication nd then u get 2.5p for 500g of glass nd then they mentioned one glass supplies power for 7.5 mins nd the weight of one glass is 500g nd the cost for it is 2.5p i hope yr getting it:colondollar:
and then 6*60=360mins nd then i did 2.5p->7.5min
so 360mins->? cross multiplication agaaaaaaaain nd then u get 120p

The problem I have with physics is that I know all the formulas and calculations but the questions in the exam can be very complicated and makes it hard for me to know how to apply the formulas

yehh ikrr that happened to me as well so i decided not to study physics anymore after my unit1 result for physics:biggrin::awesome::awesome:
i love astrophysics ONLY
The problem I have with biology is when we are dissecting organs I am quite squeamish so I never get to see them lessons otherwise I would barf 🤢
