I rarely watch porn and when I do, it's only like solo stuff, maybe another girl giving a hand... but today I went for something 'normal' and god it just made me... I actually felt like crying so I've decided to completely cut out porn. Stick to magazines and photos, anyone else feel the same?

I guess I felt like crying because as disgusting as it was, it turned me on... I felt too grossed out in the end and stopped but I thought to myself how us thus so normal? I'm 18 and feel this way but somewhere a 12 year old is loving this stuff :frown:

I suggest checking out your brain on porn, no fap, various porn related ted talks. The gail dines one is good one if you're a girl.
I quit porn 2 years ago was completely addicted to it, became desensitised to the 'normal' stuff and started watching (although not illegal) videos I was not comfortable with. I've been on no fap since. Its interesting topic actually because no fap trend is really kicking off now so hopefully it will get some major publicity.

I'm glad you've done what's best for your mind and future relationships, takes a huge amount of strength but it'll pay off when you enter a relationship. I just worry how some people enter into relationships expecting this stuff or grow up thinking it's normal, it's a crazy world.

This isn't my experience at all. I've mostly been into girl-on-girl which for the most part isn't really degrading at all (though that's not why it's what I've mostly been into). Honestly watching porn and masturbating are both normal and natural things and shouldn't be discouraged (which i feel is at least in part counter to the points of some other people in this thread). It's when you're addicted to it, can't get off without it and/or expect that it's normal in real life that you should reconsider your habits. My point is that depriving yourself of porn may not be all that healthy and that plenty of it exists that isn't at all hardcore or degrading.

I know I said I would be leaving, but I’m back for this one-off comment.

I have literally never used porn sites. Porn sites are disgusting and horrible. When I see an image of porn, it is actually so disgusting.

I’m not the kind of person who would be off watching porn.
