Best University to study LLM for an international student?

Hi,

I'm for South East Asia and graduated from a local law school with a CGPA of 3.3/4.0 (Second-Class Upper).

I'm interested to do an LLM in 2018 hopefully. I'm a qualified Advocate & Solicitor in my country and will have about 2 years post-graduate work experience in the legal field by the time I enrol.

For now, the specialisations I'm interested in are International Law/Human Rights Law/Intellectual Property/Commercial. As I only managed a rather average CGPA, I know my chances of Oxbridge/LSE are out of the window.

I'd like to know which of the following Unis have the best reputation, facilities and academic staff for the above specialisations. I intend to apply for a scholarship too but in the event I fail then I might have to take the loan route. In which case, living costs are an important element to consider as well.

These are my choices:

1. Edinburgh Uni (Pro: Good ranking, lower living costs than London, lovely city Con: Weather!)

2. UCL (Pro: High ranked uni but competitive entry. Con: In London so living cost will be high)

3. Queen Mary UoL (Pro: Good ranking, reputable Con: In London)

4. Nottingham (Pro: Living cost not as expensive, Con: Not as highly ranked as the other unis)

5. Trinity College Dublin (Pro: Top Uni in Ireland, Not many people in my country that I know of has an LLM from an Irish uni. Con: It's not as highly ranked as a UK uni. Living cost and scholarship availability)

6. University College Dublin (Pro: Reputable uni in Ireland, Opportunity to do a semester abroad. Con: Not highly ranked. Living cost and scholarship availability)
