Use an exam planner, setting out your goals, to do list and deadlines for each subject

Complete practise papers

Do at least 5 papers per subject
•
Start the first few exams as open book exams, then gradually decrease exposure to textbooks and notes

Get each paper marked
•
Repeat this process
•
Stay calm
•
Get into a routine that works for you (is this having the same breakfast or walking to school down a specific road?)
•
Avoid the speculators and stress merchants
•
Breathe (in for 5, hold for 8, and out for 5)
•
Ration your time
•
Use the formula marks = minutes/marks to calculate how long you should be spending on what questions then you know when you are spending too long on certain questions of the exam
•
Consider all answers
•
Read each question twice
•
Underline key instructions (define, explain, analyse etc.)
•
Write down all the key information from the question straight away
•
