Did you even try finding out at least one argument yourself?
This is a fairly straightforward topic. Go look through a recommended textbook and read the chapter on judicial review to familiarise yourself with it. If you aren't up for reading the core material then at the very least, go through your lecture notes.

I'm with Judge. If you're doing an online course there will be recommended materials or at least course notes/lectures. You should review these notes or presentations.

If there aren't, then you aren't getting good value for money.

Read the sticky for this section, basically do as Judge asked, and then someone may be able to help you.

People are waiting to help but they wont do your homework for you.

Its important you learn how to research.

Judicial review is law, so dont you have access to a library. , then use amazon and buy 2nd hand books. Citizenship seems to be AQA?

You can get 2nd hand copies £1.69 and £0.69. You can use them as backup.

You cna also use the internet but the AQA books are good because they refer to the syllabus and pitch it at the appropriate level..

A bit of googling gives you the answer, but its healthier if you read about judicial review and get a basic understanding of what it is.

When can someone apply for judicial review? In what situation? Who is it against? Who do they apply to? What can they do?

DONT RELY ON JUST YOUR ONLINE MATERIALS.

AQA SAYS

The response contains good evidence of the skills of analysis and evaluation of issues, problems or events in relation to the citizenship concepts and topics studied. Answers will assess arguments over whether judicial review is needed.

* Arguments in favour of judicial review include:
it provides citizens with a challenge to arbitrary or unfair decisions,
it can right wrongs,
it allows the airing of genuine grievances,
it gives people a chance to challenge otherwise unmoveable bureaucracies,
it gives people a natural right to appeal decisions made against them,
it allows citizens to ask their government to look at decisions again,etc.

* Arguments against judicial review include:
it is costly for the taxpayer to allow judicial review, decisions might be overturned that are embarrassing, unpopular , costly, etc ,
the process may be abused, it places too much power with the judiciary,
decisions made by democratically elected bodies may be overturned,
the courts may be clogged up with cases, etc

Ps I cant say I agree with all of it.
