Primary Teaching 2017

Hey, I haven't seen a forum for 2017 applications for teaching yet, and although I know it's a bit late to make one, better late than never right? I was just wondering whether anyone has received any offers from Edinburgh uni yet for undergrad teaching? Also how did you think your interview went?

Hey I had an interview for Edinburgh but haven't heard back yet. I think it went well, except I gave a pretty stupid answer when they asked us to speak about ourselves cause I wasn't expecting it, but apart from that I thought it was really chilled out for an interview. How did yours go?

I done mine on parental involvement in education. I think i would have been fine if she didn't get me to go first but because I wasnt expecting that question I gave a really vague and terrible answer while everyone else gave really good ones 😬 what other unis have you applied to?

My interview was the 15th and I got my unconditional on the 16th but I think I heard back so fast after my interview because I applied for Gaelic. They said they were aiming for before the 31st though, so you'll hopefully hear back soon😊

I had my interview on the 15th, My specialism was Religious studies. I have not heard anything, friends with History as their specialism have had offers.

I applied for the modern languages specialism and I'm so desperate to get in ☹️ but I'm expecting a rejection because apparently there was 1200 applicants for 45 places

I heard from Stirling about 3 weeks ago, but my specialism was modern languages so not sure if your specialism will change the order in which they are released?

Has anybody not heard anything from Edinburgh?? Not even an offer for an interview?
I do have places at other unis but just confused as normally Edinburgh hand out rejections before they do interviews....
