My favourite genre of music is metal (that's probably not a surprise :tongue:

). I listen to a variety of sub-genres, but my favourites at the moment are heavy metal, melodic death metal and folk metal. I also enjoy hard rock :smile:

It's interesting you say that. When I listen to those genres, I tend to feel sad, angry or pumped :tongue:

Well, my favourite band is Alestorm (their logo is my avatar!). I like them because they don't take themselves too seriously, yet still make awesome music! Other favourite bands include Equilibrium, Ensiferum, Avatar, Black Sabbath, Amon Amarth, Vinterblot, Children of Bodom and Wolfheart :biggrin:

I listen to a bit of everything, but the genres of music that make me happy include:

Indie (any form of indie) - indie music got me through bad times :redface:

Piano house - idk this specific genre just makes me happy. Whenever I listen to piano house, I smile :lol:

It seems today that iggy azalea really lifted my spirits with her "bounce bounce bounce, mo bounce in tha mtf house"

Also love music that just takes me to a nice place, it's a little like triggering nostalgia. I'm not a big fan of most (any mainstream) music today. It's all just cheap tasteless music. I'll listen to some new alternative or new indie music but majority of my library is dated, old is the gold 👍🏼
