Should women be allowed to play in the same football team as men?

I can have the opinion that I personally am the greatest footballer to ever live.

Doesn't mean that I am not totally wrong and an idiot for thinking so.

I think the possibility of every women been better at football is more likely. You can't really condemn someones opinion even if it sounds ridiculous. And I am not the only one I imagine that thinks this way. Just because you believe that women aren't equal in a potentially sexist way, doesn't mean that you are right. Doesn't make me right either.

Are you genuinely serious?

Blairs success was down to Major and Clarke's budget.
Clinton mixed with hydraulic keynesianism caused 08.
Like most leftists your only bothered about gap not the poor.
As Thatcher said you would rather the poor were poorer provided the rich were less rich.
Lets just say I have different views to you:biggrin:.
Very different indeed.
I am sure you hate me and look forward to your opposition when I am in government:tongue:

I don't hold the traditional leftist view on income inequality. I believe the middle class is the heart of this country in terms of consumption, owning and running day to day businesses, managers, qualified office workers, doctors, etc etc. They're the middle class, they deserve to see growth. The working class still see declining growth. You always take things to extremes e.g I support Blairite policies - I disagree with labour. And now I say I agree with them apparently I'm a socialist? Lol.

We do have much in common but it's small differences combined which set us apart. I think I'm right leaning in my party, you certainly are left leaning for your party.

Keep dreaming, it's what keeps this country alive

Okay I shall rephrase my question. Top 1000 players from the bottom teams of each devision. Take the premier league for an example. Do you think any female player can be as good as any single player within the premier league. Literally any player. Even from a team from the bottom of the devision.

Well in theory they could, in future, if a female athletic freak comes along. But now? No. No chance.

Top female players are probably around the same level as men's amateur/semi pro.

Hell no.

Put them in if you want but physically males are stronger and have more stamina to go 90mins. They can hit the ball with more power, they are taller so are better aerially.

In terms of the mental aspects and even the technical aspects, there is the possibility hat women can have a similar level of ability given enough training, but physically they are nowhere near the level required to beat males in the sport.

Plus its not even safe to do so anyway. If vincent kompany goes in a full challenge on a female player she'll break her leg.

Stop your social justice nonsense this instant.

It should be allowed (can't understand how people think it shouldn't), but doesn't mean anyone would actually do it because women aren't good enough.

I can't condemn someone's opinion? I am sexist for thinking male footballers are better?

Ok, goodbye troll x

In generally terms you're in the centre, leaning right of the spectrum. But In terms of your party, you definetly come from the left of it. Just compared your voting record and it seems to confirm this

Men are better at sports and to deny it you'd be lying to yourself. I'm not going to talk outside of sports but men are arguably better than women at a lot of things that aren't sports. I.e. Intellectual ability. Now obviously us females are better at men in some things but we are at a disadvantage compared to men. For example girls doing better at school than guys. It's not that we have more intellect, it's that most of us are more mature than the average high school boy, thus work harder. To say it's not true that men are at an advantage, you are lying to yourself. It's harsh but its true.

I didn't say we weren't at an advantage in a lot of things.

Are you some kind of football fanboy and you somehow found what I said insulting? What I said is what I believe to be true, whether you agree or not is up to you.

I like football yes. What you said is wrong, end of.

How does my voting record show this?

This is interesting but I am not sure what you are saying is true.( I shall await the voting record evidence)

I can't be bothered to compile a report on it, just compare to some of the labour members and prepare for a shock
No at the moment, they're not equally skilled as their male counterparts. That's purely down to the public disinterest in women's football, lack of equal training and the amount of possibly good female footballers who are discouraged from taking it up. Any man that can kick around a ball is strongly encouraged, allowing the good ones to get discovered more easily.

Ok where can I compare it?
When I compare it to my colleagues it is similar.(very similar)
I don't think I am to the eft of the party.

No real bills with drastic changes have been proposed except the NIT,Pensions bills, minimum wage and budget(which I will be voting nay.)

Yeah this is nonsense. How about tennis or athletics then where there's a fair amount of interest in womens sports?

End of the day these sports are physical sports and while a mental aspect is required at the very top level, end of the day having high levels of physical fitness is the first factor in the sport. You gonna get women in the WNBA playing in the NBA, where the guys are on average 7 inches taller than the women and wonder why the women can't get rebounds? Are you gonna pit a girl who weighs 80kg against a male middleweight boxer? Are you going to get Maria Sharapova playing against Roger Federer or Djokovic who clearly has more power in their shots?

It's simply an unfair advantage to the male counterpart and suggesting otherwise is just nonsensical lefty SJW nonsense you probably found from Tumblr.

I guess an example would be looking at mens volleyball vs womens volleyball. Even though there is a much higher level of exposure to womens volleyball, I can guarantee that men would be better at the sport on a professional level, simply because volleyball players there is a clear advantage to being tall and being able to jump high as you can reach the ball quicker. On average a female volleyball player is 5'11, on average a male volleyball player is 6'7(using the top 4 teams as an example). If you can't see how that doesn't show how male competitors have a clear advantage in sport then I'd use the simple hormone known as testosterone. Men are higher in it naturally and in many sports having high T levels are a clear advantage.

That being said, if a female athlete was as good as the male counterpart then I'd have no issue putting them in the team.
If you were trolling with your response, kudos because I've been triggered.

Anyway thread over.

People believe what they want to believe, not what is right.
Imagine Akinfenwa pushing off a 5ft 2" woman. That would not go down at all.. lol
