UCL Hong Kong Alumni Scholarship Personal Statement

Hi guys! :smile: I just received an email that I could apply for the UCL Hong Kong Alumni Scholarship, and I was just wondering how I could make this Personal Statement stand out!

I am aware that I must include
- Educational ambitions and career goals
- Difference the scholarship would make
- Financial circumstances of my family.

Are there any other things that I should include to make the statement look more impressive? Has any one receive this scholarship before and what did you include in your PS? How were the interviews like (if you received one) after being selected?

Hi there, I've also got an offer from UCL and I'm also from HK. Am I also eligible to apply for the scholarship even if I'm now studying in the UK?

I don't think so; it says that applicants must NOT be attending any schools in the UK (https://www.ucl.ac.uk/prospective-students/scholarships/undergraduate/hongkong). :/

I actually sent an email to the office to ask whether I would be eligible if quit my school now (I'm at a Scottish Uni). But they said NO which is pretty perplexing.
