So i have a gcse combined science (grade9-1) revision guide and i was going through the c1 section and it explained what atomic structure was and the rest.

But when i did a test paper the question weren't what was in the revision guide

How were they different?
Have you looked at any other past papers, to see if it was a one off?
Use the specification, cgp guides suck!

No wayy, CGP revision guides are the best, you just have to use it alongside the spec

What test paper did you do? Was it one of the past papers? If so, they are for the old (A*-G) GCSE.

There are no past papers for the new 9-1 GCSE. There are specimen papers, but they are rarely brilliant, but then again rarely have stuff that shouldn't be there.

That's an old specification past paper, you are doing the new one. Of course it's not gonna be the same you idiot ahaha. Jokes your not an idiot, it's a silly mistake .

That is the old specification, which includes different material. Easy mistake to make, as there are no past papers for the new spec
