Because some people are not as bright as others.
Some people like to do as well as they can and do themselves justice for two years of work.

I wouldnt really recommend just revising the day or even a week before. It creates bad habits when people get to a levels and the GCSEs this year are harder lol

Those people are unlikely to be on the student room

Naaaah, you know what's enough?

Just seconds before you enter the hall, take out the CGP book and just skim-read one page. Then you're set, you got the exam board by the balls. You can tell Michael Gove to :dolphin::dolphin::dolphin::dolphin: himself all because you read one page worth of revision. You're now a Don, a gangster.

A month is more than enough, but a week or the day before is just pure and unnecessary stress. That's what I did, and unfortunately got one B when i was targeted A* because of silly habits

It depends on the person. Just because you think 1 month is enough, others might not find it too little or too much. Individual progress should be taken into account - such as how much work they've done over the past year. If they've done little work, then they would obviously need to do more revision etc. Some people might want to do really well, such as they are aiming for all A*'s but might not be as clever - so they would try to do as much revision as they can.

If you believe TSR is populated only with people who get A/A* then you are deluded.
You can revise as much as you wish and need. Some started since the beginning of the year, others weeks before the exam. It depends on your basic understanding of the subject and partially your confidence as well.
Some require more revision than others.

Nnly the lazy ones fail to get A*s and As. Everyone is capable, this is about possibility not outcome.
