You discuss your results in full detail with relation to your hypothesis or your research topic. You should compare results to existing results if possible.
Some things to consider:
•
Summary of your results
•
Inspection of your results in relation to existing research
•
State how important your findings are
•
An explanation of the results, make sure you state what doesn't support your hypothesis
•
Limitations of the study
•
Mention any generalisations you can draw from the results
•
Implications or practical applications of the study
•
Recommendations on future improvements

Do you recommend it should be split into sections with these headings? Typically my supervisor never mentioned this haha
