Nothing. Mainly because of terrible spending habits at uni. However, even that would technically be only a loan, so I could hardly call it savings. Hey, at least I've never gone into overdraft and my only debt is the standard uni one which I'll probably never pay back anyway, so yay I guess..
Im 16, have a part time job and ive only saved £84 LOL :frown:

Im 25 (26 in a couple of weeks) and ive saved £42,000.

I'm lucky that my parents have been wise and invested some of their savings and my inheritance. Sitting at around £60k but won't be able to access any of it until I'm 18 due to them being sealed in trust funds.

I know I've been very fortunate. I also won't have any student debt to have to pay off as well as my parents are going to pay for university fees

just found out most public sector pensions require yeh to work till 65 minimum

retiring at 40 aint gonna happen now (much sadness)

Which ones?

My understanding is most public sector schemes let you access your public sector pension from age 55 at reduced rate.

On a reduced rate public sector pension without drawing state pension?

Well I thought I'd post to make you all feel really good about yourselves.

23 and still have a £1k student overdraft left over so technically my savings are (-).

Graduated last summer and have since been travelling and secured a well paid job but trying to put between £5/600 away from now onward. That said, I like my weekends too much. You lot are all saints
