My Secondary School Mentor Scheme (Year 11)

Please can someone help as to how I should fill the rest in ?
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Please explain why you want to take part in the scheme:
- I know how the children would feel. My first days at the school were very daunting and overwhelming. I want to make the process easier for other children so they don’t feel the same as I did and so that their transition from Primary School is smooth and bump free.

What experience, if any, do you have of working with younger children/students:
- Tutoring Primary School Students (Maths & English)
- Looking after my Younger Brother (4 Years Old)

What qualities do you think you have that would make you a good mentor?

Name three personality traits or skills that you think are important for a mentor to have:

Some important traits/skills could be:

- Being a good listener
- Empathy
- Willing to give up time, and put in maximum effort
- Enthusiasm
- Positivity/Optimism
- Good communication skills

However, it's not a good strategy to simply choose traits which sound best- choose the ones which you feel are most applicable to you. Good luck with your application!
