Thursday 27th April
And I am finally back at college! Today definitely had a great deal of work to catch up on - mainly in history, but I was raring to go (after trying not to pass out on the train this morning)
Lesson 1 and 2: A2 History, and today's lesson finished the penultimate module: Nationalities and Satellite States. Which means we begin the Khrushchev module - the final one!!!
This lesson was rather easy, even if it built on quite a bit of knowledge that I missed form earlier this week, but the second hour was spent going over Russification, and this I understood rather well!
Clearly, I'm already rearing to go and get that A; also in this lesson, I emailed my tutor to ask for a conversation about my mocks after tutorial this afternoon.
Lesson 3: English Literature, and today we covered one of the Emily Bronte poems "Julian M and A G Rochelle"; a bit longer than I was expecting, we had our English teacher attempt to draw it out to allow us to understand it better. And even though she couldn't draw very well, it was hilarious and definitely allowed me to know the poem better.
Lesson 4: Free period, and spent this doing yet more EPQ work; I am definite that it will be handed in sometime tomorrow when I track down my supervisor in college.
Lesson 5: Tutorial, and it was all about letting properties, as well as voting. quite a quick session, lasting around half an hour, giving a little longer than I thought to chat with my tutor about my mocks and the aftermath of my mental breakdown.
She was kind and very understanding about it, and was definitely trying to help me out with this, sending out recommendations for how to revise best, who to revise with, any revision sessions being completed in college. The chat was supposed to be 10 minutes - it lasted for 45... I almost missed my train, but it was a good talk.
