Explain how will climate change affect the distribution (spread), frequency (how often) and intensity (strength) of tropical storms!!!!

Warmer seas mean there is more energy to increase the intensity of tropical storms. Rising sea levels means that the risk of coastal flooding from storm surges will be greater.

Global warming and warmer seas could bring about more intense tropical storms. Hurricanes form when the sea's surface temperature increases above 26C.

The power of a hurricane depends on how rapidly water can evaporate from the ocean. Evaporation transfers heat from the ocean to the atmosphere, which converts the transfer of heat into wind energy. Water evaporation ultimately drives the winds in a hurricane. As the temperature of the water rises, the rate of evaporation increases, driving stronger winds.
