Elite boutique internship-no return offer

I have just done a 6 week internship in the investment banking division at a very
elite boutique i.e Moelis, Greenhill.

I did not get a full time offer.

The issue is they only take on people with around 4-5 years of experience from
top Bulge Bracket banks or accounting firms.
Also they also hardly ever take on any interns.

I recieved very good feedback and members of the executive board have offered to write me very good references.

How hard will it be to leverage this internship into a full time role at another bank?

Shouldn't be too difficult with relevant banking experience to get a full-time interview. But, I'd probably apply to a mix of internships and FT.
