Graduated from LSE in Accounting and Finance with a first and top 20% of my class.
I did a few previous internships in finance related industries and did not take the GRE.
What about you?
Thanks for the reply!
I have a BEng in Mechanical Engineering from the Universidade Federal do Ceará with distinction and an MSc in Information Systems from the George Washington University with fellowships.
I have done some research while a student and worked in finance and consulting firms. No GRE either.
That's exactly my case. Completed the application late November/early december, Still no news.
Wish they'd at least indicate what our prospects are looking like - whether we're just part of a reserve that shouldn't expect to get in, when we can expect a response etc

Hi! I am considering applying for the MSc Computing Science (without specialisation) next year. I am currently in the penultimate year of my bachelor degree in business (working towards a first) and undertook several internships in finance. I never really took any computing classes at university and only know front-end basics. So I was wondering whether, without computer science background, my profile meets the requirements, given that they welcome applications from all degree disciplines. Also, I was wondering whether it is preferable to take the GRE test or not and whether there is an interview as part of the application process (if yes, how technical is it?). Thanks a lot for your advice!
called about 2 weeks ago and the same old "no decision now but we hope to have one for you soon"
How do you reckon we stand at this point? Are they just keeping us around in case people in the current roster fall through? Or are they waiting to see if better applicants submit before the deadline?
