@RDKGames

yes normally you will see a pattern, for example, each term of the sequence might be 5, so you'd multiply 5 by the number of terms.

Are you completely sure that your value for C is correct and that you've integrated correctly?
who thinks proof for sum of arithmetic series will come up?

I have hopes but, I'm doubting it.

so for c)
its like this: 1, -1/1 + 1 -1/2

not sure what to do next

I did part b of question 10 You don't need to integrate use the differentiated equation they give you and equate it to the inverse of the gradient as it is perpendicular .

You can't scroll down it's an electronic paper where you start on Q1 and have to mark each question before moving to another...

Take a screenshot and post it instead :smile:

the sequence is 1, -0.5, 1, -0.5....., and because you want the sum of the first 100 terms, you can just do 50 times the sum of the first 2 terms (because each set of 2 terms is the same)
so you would get 50*(1-0.5) which is equal to 25.

It's 1, -1/2, 1, -1/2 etc. Try working out the second term again.

So you do (50 x 1) + (50 x -1/2) =50-25 =25
